Welcome to Petit Bijou Russian Salon Dogs.
Our primary goal is to breed Russian Salons that are not only healthy but also exhibit excellent temperaments, conform to breed standards, and make ideal pets for all families. Our Russian Salons are purebred, with full pedigrees that trace their heritage directly to the Russian Salon breed. Unlike some offerings in the market, our dogs are not mixed with Yorkshire Terriers or any other breeds.
Before purchasing a Russian Salon, we encourage prospective buyers to ensure that the breeder provides a guarantee of complete pedigrees. We adhere to Puppy Culture protocols to ensure that our puppies are properly socialized and well-prepared for their forever homes.
Our breeding dogs undergo rigorous genetic health testing, and where applicable, we submit OFA certifications. Additionally, all of our dogs have DNA profiles registered with DDC Veterinary. At present, the breed is free from any known genetic health issues due to its relatively young age. As breeding continues, we aim to establish a comprehensive set of genetic tests to guide future breeding decisions and further promote the health and well-being of the breed.
At present, the IABCA is the sole show registry permitting the exhibition of Russian Salon Dogs in the continental USA. We encourage all owners of Russian Salon Dogs to participate in shows and title their dogs, as it is the most effective method for the breed to gain necessary exposure and advancement.
Given the rarity and novelty of Russian Salon Dogs in the United States, we are open to placing puppies in responsible, ethical breeding homes affiliated with the Russian Salon Dog Club of America. These homes must commit to showing and titling the dog as an International Champion through IABCA. I will remain a co-owner until the dog achieves its title, at which point I will relinquish all rights to the owner. This approach aims to increase engagement with this remarkable breed by encouraging the buyer to import or utilize a Russian Salon Dog of the opposite sex for breeding purposes.
Our Russian Salon Dogs are available in Red, Cream, Red Sable, and Red and White colors. All puppies are registered with the Russian Salon Dog Registry of America and are dual registered with FCI and UKC when applicable. Prices range from $2500.00 to $3800.00. A non-refundable deposit of $600 is required, which will be applied to the purchase price. The final payment must be made in cash at the time of pickup.
Each puppy comes with RSDRA registration, first vaccination, blanket and small bag of food.
